In a stirring display of divine authority, Jesus arrived in Bethany to find that Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days. Moved by compassion and the sorrow of those around Him, Jesus commanded, “Lazarus, come out!” In an awe-inspiring moment, Lazarus emerged from the tomb, alive and restored.
This miracle not only comforted a grieving community but also foreshadowed the ultimate victory over death that would be accomplished through Jesus’ own resurrection.
