The Conquest of Canaan
Under Joshua’s leadership, the Israelites cross into and begin the conquest of the Promised Land, fulfilling God’s promise to Abraham.

After wandering in the wilderness, the Israelites finally reached the borders of Canaan. Led by Joshua, they were instructed by God to take possession of the land promised to their ancestors. Through a series of battles and miraculous victories—including the fall of fortified cities—the people of Israel began to settle in Canaan.
This period of conquest was marked by both military triumphs and the establishment of a covenantal relationship with God as they took hold of the land promised to them.
