The Ascension

After commissioning His disciples, Jesus ascends into heaven, promising to return and leaving His followers with the assurance of His eternal presence.

In the presence of His disciples, Jesus was taken up into heaven in a cloud of glory. His ascension marked the end of His earthly ministry and the beginning of a new era for His followers. With His departure, He promised to send the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and comfort them.

This event reinforced the hope of His return and continues to inspire believers to live with the expectation of eternal life in His kingdom.
